It was drizzly all day today and, of course, the rain continued into the evening. However, this didn’t stop me and 2 other crazies (pictured below!) from having a good time running in the rain. It was actually quite enjoyable and here are some reasons why:
- The rain keeps you cool so you won’t overheat.
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing choices. Choose wisely!
- I highly recommend waterproof shoes. Wet socks are the worst. Squish squish.
- Running in the rain is like running and showering at the same time. What can be better than that?
- Similar to winter running, you can feel like a total badass after you are done
- According to a very wise man (Lisa’s dad), rain is not a big deal because our skin is waterproof. Truth! 😄
- Running with my runbuddies makes everything good!

Nutrition log:
- Pre-run: 1 orange 2 hours before
- Mid-run: water
- Post-run: Milo with milk 🥛, Vector cereal with milk 🥛, PB&J bagel (I love having breakfast for dinner!)
