Help send kids with cancer to Camp Ooch

In a month, I will be running the Sporting Life 10k. The last time I ran this race was 10 years ago, when my son was only 8 months old and iPhones were just becoming popular. I ran that race in 1:05:50 which I thought was pretty good after having given birth just 8 months ago and I was still breastfeeding.

Fast forward 10 years later, I would have never imagined I’d be training for a full marathon and running this 10k as a training run. I’ve signed up to be in the 55-59 minute corral and I’m confident, with all the training I’m doing, that I’ll be running it in under 1 hour. Plus, it’s a downhill course so that helps too!

The Sporting Life 10k is a fundraiser for Camp Ooch which is a camp for kids with cancer. I would like to invite you to join my journey and help me raise money to send kids with cancer to #CampOoch through the #SL10K
