Just to change it up, we did a new route today. We ran a 10km clockwise loop from Bayview station, north to the Finch Trail, down the “Green Monster” (as Dave calls it), south on the Don River trail, past MEC and back to Bayview station. It was fun going down the Green Monster but torturous coming back because what goes down must come up! Next time, we’ll run UP the Green Monster for hill training!
The weather was nice tonight and it was great to see lots of people on the trail. It was a good thing that it was rainy last night when we did our ninja intervals because we had the whole trail to ourselves. It would have been way too crowded to do it today.
We decided to do a photo at the beginning just in case we lost people along the way. Only Lisa looked good in this photo. The rest of us wanted to smile but it didn’t come out quite right. 😆

Nutrition log:
- Pre-run: banana, half a jam sandwich, 1/4 cup salted macadamia nuts
- Mid-run: water
- Post-run: 2 cups of chocolate milk
I think I ate too much pre-run so I wasn’t hungry post-run.
