Cherry blossom runchat

Yesterday was a 12k recovery run. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom. More people are joining us now that the weather is nice. There is no excuse.

I mostly ran with Dave today and circled back after 1 loop to pick up Lisa for our 2nd loop. Tracey ended up running the 2nd loop too because of peer pressure.😅

I used to be very hesitant about running consecutive days. Now running 3 consecutive days is no big deal. I will even be running with my kids tomorrow which will mean running 5 consecutive days if I run on Wednesday too! #progress #trainingforDopey

Nutrition log:

  • Pre-run: banana and condensed milk toast 1 hour before
  • Mid-run: water
  • Post-run: homemade BBQ pork, boiled cabbage, purple rice
