Running with kids

Lisa and Susan planned to go for a run/walk today so I decided to crash their party and bring my kids for another C25K run. I also invited Parm because his doctor said he is only allowed to run short distances for now.

Day 3 of the program is still painfully slow but I guess it’s good for the kids to build up their endurance slowly, especially my daughter. The only time they ran fast was at the end when I asked them if they wanted to play at the playground and they immediately darted off. ๐Ÿ˜’

Regardless, it’s great to get out of the house together. We need to take advantage of the nice weather and do this more often.

Nutrition log:

  • Pre-run: BBQ pork, 1 portabello mushroom
  • Mid-run: water
  • Post-run (dinner #2): lobster roll ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜, chips, diet coke
