Hello Week 15 of my 20 week training plan! Yesterday was probably the hottest and ‘humid-est’ I’ve ever run in. I feel the heat really affects me so I guess it’s good training for TSFM in case it gets really hot toward the end of the race.

Since I needed 14km, I did a 7km pre-run. It was hot and humid. I went slow and drank water like a camel 🐫.
I was dripping wet when I got to the church from sweat, like in a sauna. I refilled my water before going out again with the group.
The weather cooled off a bit toward the end but it was still super humid. Thankfully, the rain and thunderstorm that the forecast called for never happened.

Nutrition log:
- Pre-run: banana 45 minutes before
- Mid-run: lots of water, 1 GU chew
- Post-run: pesto pasta with steak and shrimp (leftovers), graham cracker ice cream sandwiches (so good I had 2!), some nuts (I was hungry!)
