Track intervals

We did the Kenyan intervals again today: 13 x 1 minute hard followed by 1 minute recovery (I walked).

It felt a bit easier today than last time we did it. Maybe because it wasn’t as hot. Lisa kept reminding me I’m supposed to be tapering but it’s so hard to go slow when I’m feeling good! 😄

At the end, Jim got us all Freezies again and gave out 2 awards. Zoe got the Wednesday night champion of the world belt for her strong comeback. I got my very own RunNinjas t-shirt for being the best recruiter and so I can represent the Ninjas at The San Francisco Marathon next weekend!

I was so surprised to get the shirt! I was thinking of getting some kind of race costume/outfit but nothing really appealed to me. This shirt is going to be perfect!! I’m going to try it out this Sunday at Toronto Triathlon Festival! 😄
