Mike joined us for the first time on Thursday. He’s training for the New York Marathon in Nov. How exciting! He told us it’s a lottery system but as an international runner, you can pay a bit more to a travel agent to secure your entry which is what he did. Turns out “a bit more” is $500 extra! That’s a LOT more! I wouldn’t pay $500 extra. Maybe I’ll have to start applying next year to try my luck with the lottery. Going on the bucket list: win the New York Marathon lottery. 😁
After the run, Lisa used a 50% off happy hour coupon from her Starbucks app and we shared a mocha frappacino. Yum!
