Wednesday night’s run was held in a sauna. “Just survive” was the motto of the day.
Thankfully, Jim had mercy on us and let us run intervals at Bayview park which is mostly shaded and has a splash pad for us to cool off. Unfortunately, the water fountain wasn’t working so those who didn’t bring their own water was seriously at risk of heat stroke or dehydration.
I didn’t feel like I was doing intervals at all. My legs felt like lead and I walked for most of my recovery. The heat was a killer!
