Happy Thanksgiving! 2 weeks to #STWM!!
Today, a group of us subwayed downtown to run the second half of the #STWM route. Originally, our training schedule had us running 20k on Saturday and 14k today. It was Lisa’s idea to swap the distances so we can run more of the #STWM route. I’m so glad we did!
I thought that it was just going to be Lisa, Parm, and I but when I got to our meeting point, Katie and Haysook were there too and Su also came. I’m thankful that so many people showed up, especially those not even running #STWM!




The weather was ~10C and windy down by the lake. I’m glad I wore a long-sleeve windproof jacket on top of my short-sleeve T. The forecast for race day is similar so it was a good practise run.
The last few long runs, my stomach didn’t feel too good but I didn’t know if it was the fruit snacks, Endurance Tap, or Gatorade. I suspected that it was the Gatorade so today, I ran with Nuun instead of Gatorade and had no issues. I guess I won’t be drinking the Gatorade at #STWM. At least I figured it out now instead of on race day!

- Pre-run: toast with kaya
- Mid-run: Nuun, fruit snack, endurance tap
- Post-run: pork belly bahn mi and ice coffee
