This Strava fail deserves its own post.
So after I crossed the finish line at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, I thought I stopped my Garmin. However, it wasn’t until much later that I realized that it had somehow restarted and said that I did 54.6km at a 8:37/km pace. 🤔 Apparently I flew up to North York after the marathon.

According to this, I took over an hour to do km 43. Jim said it was his favorite part of my Strava. 😂 He said it must have been when Lisa and I were taking selfies post-race. Indeed, he knows us so well.

The zigzag part of the map is when I was hobbling to Marche. Was I walking like a drunken sailor? Maybe I was still delusional or maybe my Garmin is playing with me.

Too bad my Garmin/Strava didn’t record properly but at least it made someone’s day and it’s a good story to tell. 😊
