I was looking forward to starting my training plan today.
- Unfortunately, the People’s Church run was cancelled because the city issued a freezing rain warning.
- Unfortunately, I was expecting to do an abs class and a spin class after work but those got cancelled too.
- Unfortunately, a colleague offered to run on the dreadmill with me and I agreed because I didn’t think anyone was going to run outside. Turns out both Tracey and Bridget were willing to brave the weather for a proper run outside.
- Unfortunately, I still ran 30 minutes on the dreadmill since I already agreed to run with my colleague.
- Fortunately, after the longest 30 minutes of my life, I was able to go home, change, and meet Tracey and Bridget for Round 2.
- Fortunately, the freezing rain didn’t happen while we were running and I got my first Tempo run in!
My plan was to do a 20 minute tempo run. I guess I did it but next time, I’ll slow down the warm up and cool down even more so there is more of a difference. I will more gradually work up to 40 minutes.

Oh, and I got invited as a Nuun Ambassador too! Go #teamnuun!

Nutrition log:
- Pre-run: nothing
- Mid-run: nothing
- Post-run: Chinese soup, 2 chicken wings, nachos, labadoozie, sticky toffee pudding, snickerdoodle, toblerone (wow, such a bad meal!)
Nice workout! Can’t believe you did 2 rounds. So hard core.

The dreadmill one didn’t really count. I can’t believe you ran a half on the treadmill for your dopey! That was some determination!
