Since I already ran 19km on Thursday, I gave myself a break and only did 11km today. It felt good to do a “shorter” distance but it’s also crazy to think that 11km is now considered short.

We ran up the “Graydon Hall Hill Hell” today for the first time – what an appropriate name! I was seriously huffing and puffing by the time we got to the top but again, thinking about San Francisco helps motivate me to get up these hills. I have no idea what the hills in San Francisco are going to be like but since everyone talks about the hills, I guess I should at least try to train for them! Graydon Hall Hill Hell, I’ll be back!

The ninjas ran to this beautiful mural today. I’m sad I didn’t make it there but I also truly appreciated doing a shorter run today as a mini-taper for tomorrow.
My goal for tomorrow’s indoor triathlon relay is to run 3km (15 x 200m laps) in 15 minutes! 😅

Nutrition log:
- Pre-run: bagel with honey 1 hour before (inspired by Krista DuChene’s pre-race meal) – it was a bit too sweet for me. I prefer bagel with strawberry jam.
- Mid-run: water
- Post-run: Milo with milk
- Post-post-run lunch: I indulged in a super high calorie, high fat, high carb, and high salt lunch of hamburger, onion rings, vanilla milkshake from Johnny’s Hamburgers. I haven’t been there for years (nothing much has changed) and it was delicious! We ate it outdoors (yes, in the parking lot!) and took advantage of the warm-ish weather that has finally arrived! #enjoyeverybite

I’m sad I missed the murals too!! Looks so cool! #FOMO #YOLO
