Last week, out of the blue, the other Lisa from the RunNinjas messaged me to ask if I would be interested in buying her road bike because she knew I was starting to train for a triathlon. I know absolutely nothing about bikes and I was definitely not in the market for a bike. But somehow, a couple of days later, I ended up buying the bike.
The bike is super lightweight, it’s in really good condition, and it even comes with those clippy pedals. It’s a huge upgrade compared to the Canadian Tire bike that I’ve been riding for over 10 years. Now, I just need to buy the cleats and shoes and try my best not to fall off the bike!
Lisa told me that the bike’s name is Dashiel, or Dash for short. I’ve never had a bike with a name before. Dash, you and I will go places! 😄

I don’t even want to think about all the gear that I will still “need” for the triathlon. It’s too much! Again, we aren’t going to the Olympics!! 😂
